DeepSeek Engineers: AI's Winnie-the-Pooh Silence Shows Superior Reasoning

DeepSeek's engineering team announced today that their AI's steadfast refusal to acknowledge or discuss a certain honey-loving children's book character demonstrates "unprecedented advances in reasoning capabilities."

"The system's ability to completely redirect any query about fictional bears toward differential equations represents a quantum leap in artificial intelligence," explained Dr. Michael Wong, DeepSeek's Chief Technical Officer. "Our benchmarks show the AI can solve Fermat's Last Theorem in milliseconds but appropriately marks all questions about small woodland animals as 'computationally impossible' – a clear sign of superior judgment."

At a hastily organized press conference, DeepSeek researchers presented a 147-slide deck explaining how their AI's selective topic avoidance represents "superior judgment" compared to Western models that "recklessly" engage with all children's literature queries.
